Two reasons because of which pollen grain can be best measured as fossils are as follows:

1) Pollen grains have layers that help in measuring fossils,the outer layer is known as the exine which is usually made up of the most resistant organic material known as the sporopollen.

2)Sporopollen can help in protecting the fossils from high temperature, and different chemicals that doesn't harm the fossils.
