hey a ... burning of fuels such as coal . produce sulphur dioxide and this sulphur dioxide gets to the atmosphere and makes sulphur trioxide .. this causes acid rain .. acid rain makes huge damage to all vegetation and monuments. HOPE IT HELPS # FOLLOW ME

The fossil containing sulphur burns to produce sulphur dioxide which escapes in air and when the rain comes it mixes with the water to form sulphurous acid which is a major content of acid rain.
