Deforestation can result in drought and floods of floods in that area because the trees roots bind the soil with the help of their roots so soil cannot wash and flow away it prevents from floods

Deforestation can result in droughts and flood because the upper layer of the soil is eroded by wind , over grazing, over mining etc that cause thin layer of soil and the sea level is very high .so, water come on land that's why droughts and flood occurred.
