Answer:

In principle, international law operates only at the international level and not within domestic legal systems—a perspective consistent with positivism, which recognizes international law and municipal law as distinct and independent systems. Conversely, advocates of natural law maintain that municipal and international law form a single legal system, an approach sometimes referred to as monism

The Government of the country has exclusive power to conclude and implement international treaties or agreements. But at the same time, they need to cater to the need of the local public. Thus, balance in International treaties and Municipal laws is established by the cooperation at all three levels of Union, State, and local governance.

Explanation:

  • Indian constitution included in itself the basic framework for the implementation of obligations of international treaties undertaken by India under its national law system.
  • This has been embodied in the Directive Principles. Thus, every time a law is formed, it has been taken into consideration that such law does not harm the regional parameter of any place.
  • One model fits for all approach is not followed.
