Living things have specific organs and parts to survive. All living organisms need air (carbon dioxide/oxygen) to survive, every living organism needs to breath. 'Living organisms respond to external stimuli. Non-living things have no power to respond to external stimuli.' Non- living things 'do not grow, respire, need energy, move, reproduce, evolve, or maintain homeostasis.'
