MOET stands for Multiple Ovulation Embryo Transfer, it is a technique which is used to increase the reproduction rate of single or group of animals.

All female population of the animals are capable of producing more eggs than they need in their life time. MOET technique uses Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) to stimulate the ovary of the female to produce more than one egg in the each reproductive cycle.

As a result of this FSH stimulate female animal is capable of producing 6 to 8 eggs per cycle instead of one egg per cycle. Then each of these egg is either allow to mate with superior bull or is artificially inseminated, as a result of this 6-8 embryos are formed in one cycle. Then these embryo at the 8-32 cell stage transferred to surrogate mother for its further development.

The main advantage of MOET technique is that it help in improving reproductive rate of animals and in short time period large group of cattle can be produced.
