◆ Pressure-Depth relationship-
- Pressure is directly proportional to depth from surface because weight of liquid column pushes down on an object submersed.
- The pressure depends only upon the depth, and is the same anywhere at a given depth and in every direction.
- The pressure increases about one atmosphere for every 10 meters of water depth.
