Hii There!!!

It is given that, an = ( 2n + 1 )

So, a1 = [ 2(1) + 1 ] = 3

a2 = 4 + 1 = 5

a3 = 6 + 1 = 7

So, the sum of first three terms = a1 + a2 + a3

= 3 + 5 + 7 = 15

Answer:

S3 = 15

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that,

nth term of an A.P = an = 2n + 1

i ) First term = a1 = 2×1 + 1 = 3

ii ) Second term ( a2 ) = 2×2+1 = 5

iii ) Third term (a3) = 2×3+1 = 7

Now ,

Sum of first three term ( S3 )

= a1 + a2 + a3

= 3 + 5 + 7

= 15
