HIV infection spreads through various means such as through blood transfusion and through sexual contact. Other means involves the use of same drug injecting equipment or sharing the equipment that has contracted the virus or by engaging in risky sexual activity following the drug abuse. This becomes the mean of spreading the fatal disease.
