Bile juice does not contain any enzymes but is very much needed for digestion. It increases the absorption of fats. As a result it is an important part for the absorption of fat soluble molecules like vitamin D, K, E, A. Many waste products like bilirubin are eliminated from our body by secretion into bile and elimination of faeces.
