Hey mate

Here is ur answer...

When microwave oven became popular in 1970s.They lifted household convinces to a new level. the conventional oven heats food very slowly from the outside in, but a microwave oven used tiny high powered radio waves to cook food more evenly. This is why the microwave can cook the joint of meat roughly six times faster than a conventional oven. Microwave oven also save energy, because you can cook immediately without waiting for the oven to heat up to a high temperature first. Microwave oven are so quick and efficient because they channel heat energy directly to the molecules. Inside it microwave heat food like the sun heats your face -by radiation.

When we put conductor in microwave then it will result in arcing inside the microwave from the metal to another electrical conductor with lower potential . In extreme cases these electrical can end up burning small whole in the metal wall.

Hope it will help you!
