IPO stands for input>process>output.
Here, the input is data(raw facts and figures) which is fed by the user for processing, supported by storage and finally the output is given in the form of information (processed data is information)

IPO CYCLE:

When the user gives an input value or action to the system through any of the input devices such as keyboard or mouse, the system does some internal process to produce the end result as output. The output is sent to the output unit like screen or the printer.

The entire process that involves input and output action is said to be IPO cycle.

An example for IPO cycle can be Java program, where the user provides the input and gets the output. All the process in this world comes under IPO cycle because all the process has an input and a output.
