Sum of squares of perpendicular sides is equal to square of hypotenuse
If you draw the diagram of PQR you will see that QP and PR are the perpendicular sides and QR is the hypotenuse.
So PQ²+PR²=QR²
=>10²+24²=QR²
=>100+576=QR²
=>QR²=676
=>QR=√676=26cm

mfazal: Just do the prime factorisation of 676 and take out the pairs of two similar numbers such as 2,2 this will be considered as 2 only and multiply them you will get the square root of 676
