Sum of squares of perpendicular sides is equal to square of hypotenuse
If you draw the diagram of PQR you will see that QP and PR are the perpendicular sides and QR is the hypotenuse.
So PQ²+PR²=QR²
=>10²+24²=QR²
=>100+576=QR²
=>QR²=676
=>QR=√676=26cm
