A laboratory thermometer is used to measure temperature of objects. It doesn't consists of any constriction so it can be read while immersed in the object whose temperature has to be taken. Alcohol is used in it to measure lower body temperature of the objects. The lowest fixed point is 10degree Celsius. While, the upper fixed point is 110 degree Celsius.
