The Executive power of the State is vested in Governor. The Chief Minister is appointed by the Governor who also appoints other ministers on the advice of the Chief Minister. The Council of Ministers is collectively responsible tolegislative assembly of the State.The five powers of the state legislative assembly are as follows: 1. Legislative Powers 2. Financial Powers 3. Control over the Executive 4. Amendment Powers 5. Electoral Functions.
