*Hello mate.

# Thanks for asking this question.

Your answer is =>

# \underline{\bf{The \:Innate\: Immunity\:}} =>

the innate immunity is the special type of resistance for the diseases and thus disease causing agents like Pathogens , germs , bacteria etc. which is naturally present in our body.

This type of immunity system is a natural barrier for the affect of disease causing agents which may disturb our Metabolism rate.

Now let's take a small Grasping look for the different types of natural barriers in our body ;-

1) \underline{\bf{Physical\:Barrier}} =>

the Skin on our body in the most precious example for this. Mucus coating produced by the Goblet cells in our Larynx , trachea and Fallopian tubes of female body are another few examples of it.

2) \underline{\bf{Cellular \:barriers}} =>

these are the compository structures of cells which act as a barrier for pathogens.

We have seen that certain Lymphocytes , Leukocytes , monocytes in our blood are good barriers for infection.

3) \underline{\bf{Physiological \:Barriers}} =>

These are the barrier substances secreted by our different body structures.

eg. HCL Acid is secreted by Stomach , Saliva secreted in the mouth , mucus lining of ears and eyes as well as Tears .

4) \underline{\bf{Cytokine \:barriers}} =>

These are the barriers which are used to stop the spread or the growth of pathogens or mostly Viruses by secreting some special proteins called INTERFERONS which stop the growth of these viruses.

The major functions of the vertebrate innate immune system include: Recruiting immune cells to sites of infection through the production of chemical factors, including specialized chemical mediators called cytokines. Activation of the adaptive immune system through a process known as antigen presentation.
