  2. When the president is absent due to illness or some other cause then the vice president shall hold office of President.
  3. When the Vice-President is discharging the functions of President, then Vice-President is entitled to allowances, emoluments, and privileges as may be determined by Parliament. Until the Parliament didn't determined the allowances, emoluments, and privileges then it was considered as specified in Second Schedule.
