In different parts.

1. Brahmins: This were the upper caste because only they have the right to teach and learn vedas and all.

2.Kshatriyas: This were the kings or the people which rescue their region. These were allowed to learn archery and all such kind of things.

3.Vaishyas: These were the stage in which the people do small small bussiness. They were not given correct respect.

4. Shudra : These were the last stage which were not given correct respect and there work was to treat the upper castes.
