India was under the control of British East Company for 200 years.
It is known to all and this period was very hurting. As we know, Indians were not United in olden days. They used to fight and was no brotherhood in the nation .
The British took advantage of this situation and they captured India and started to exploit it.
They dominated the poor voltage people and followed a policy of severe control and punishment.
One another cause for this struggle was also the richness of India.
India's region contained gold which was very precious, so the Britishers took all the gold from India.
They exploitated our nation to the most as the torture and the punishment could not be described.
Their punishment was really very severe, they used to cut fingers or hands, slide them under an elephant, took out eyes and even beheaded the punishers.
They controlled our India, Our nation to the uttermost and exploitated to the most.
Hope my answer is helpful to you.
