The main cause of global warming is 'Pollution'. Due to pollution,there is huge amount of increase in green house based.Green house gases are the gases which helps 'green house effect' to take place.Gases like carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide ,chlorofluorocarbon,hydrogen peroxide ,methane ,etc. are green house gases.It is considered that green house effect results in global warming.In green house effect due to increased amount of carbon dioxide in earth's atmosphere ,a blanket like thick layer has formed around earth which traps the entering sunlight in atmosphere and keeps it "warm".Thus, resulting into "global warming".
Global warming is very harmful as it has many harmful consequences. Due due to increase in temperature there is unpredictable climate change which can result in a calamity.It increases the temperature of earth resulting in to melting of glaciers , North Pole , South Pole,etc. As the accumulated snow melts the water level of earth also increases which results in decrease of land due submergence in ocean or sea.Green house gas like chlorofluorocarbon reacts with ozone and breaks ozone molecule and thus depletes it.Ozone layer around earth absorbs harmful UV rays from entering the earth. Due to depletion of ozone layer many skin mutation like skin cancer can take place due to exposure of skin in sunlight containing UV rays.
