QUESTION-Explain the causes for the decline in the tiger population in India.
Answer-1. Loss of Their Habitat- They are oftenly killed to procure many raw materials like tiger skin to make goods out of it. They are
hunted or poached to obtain raw materials.
Poaching is one of the most immediate threats to wild tigers. The very main reason and threat for tiger survival is only because of huge consumer demand. Especially, the poachers are hunting the tigers for their skins, bones, teeth and claws which are highly valued for their use in Traditional Asian Medicine.
