Hey!

So in India, the issues faced by parties are manifold

They begin with the simple fact that there is no AUTHORITY over the political parties. So even though the parties have to hold COMPULSORY ELECTIONS, the reliability of such elections is questionable.

Then there is the use of muscle and money power to enter politics. It's shameful to accept but yes, we do have a lot of criminals in our political system today

The issue of funding of parties is a whole different issue which plagues our democracy. Where do the parties get this gigantic amount of money, to spend on advertisements, from?

Right to information is not applicable on funding of parties. This is a big problem too

But where there is a problems, there are solutions too.

Government has introduced the concept of ELECTORAL BONDS, through which the parties will be getting all their funding.

Basically, if someone wants to donate funds to the party, they will have to purchase bonds, instead of coming directly in contact with the party. This is a good step.

Hope this helped :)
