The cloud analogy about a practicing spiritualist is seen in the Book of Baghvadh Gita, chapter 6,6.38–45.
Explanation of the cloud analogy
The life of a practicing spiritualist is like the clouds in the sky.
The clouds
- The small clouds keep moving in the sky and are blown away if they stay alone.
- So they need to join a bigger cloud to become stable.
Practicing spiritualist
- Similarly the practicing spiritualist cannot stay alone, but need to search and acquire knowledge about God and attain self-realization thereby becoming one with the God.
