Helen's autobiography inspires its readers. She lost her hearing and vision at young age. Despite these hindrances she prepared for college like other girls. she worked hard to get the books in braille and sat for examinations with dedication and love. Her life as a student was very difficult, she not only had to prepare for the examinations but simultaneously improved her capability of speaking and deciphering the world around her sans ears and eyes. Her hard work paid off and she became a distinguished citizen and activist of 20th century.
