THE COMPOSITION OF THE SUPREME COURT


THE HEAD OF THE COURT IS SUPREME COURT WHICH IS IN DELHI . IF ANYONE IS NOT SATISFIED WITH HIS DECISION THEN HE GO TO SUPREME COURT. FIRST IS VILLAGE PANCHAYAT THEN ADALAT THEN LOCAL COURT AND THEN COMES HEAD OF THE COURY SUPREME COURT . THE ADVANTAGE OF IT IS THAT HEARING THAT IS (SUNWAI) IS VERY FAST AND DECISIONS ARE GOOD TAKEN HERE AND NEVER WRONG

The composition of the supreme court:

  • According to the act 124 and Amendment act of 2008, the supreme court contains the CJI along with 31 judges.
  • According to that Act the supreme court judge was appointed by the president.
  • This appointment of judge is also called as collegium system.
  • Due to lack in transparence,  a new article 124 A was consolidated in the constitution, under which the (NJAC) replaced the collegium system for the appointment of judges.
  • It is the highest constitutional court that possess the power of judicial review.
  • Extensive powers in the form of appellate, original and advisory Jurisdictions are bestowed upon them.
  • The court has the power to review any case and even withdraw it even they feel a breach of the law has occurred.
