Some parties which fulfill the criteria made by the Election Commision of India are called 'recognized parties'
A party is recognized as a national party if it secures 6% votes in the Lok Sabha Elections or in 4 Assembly elections and wins 4 seats in the Lok Sabha
A party is recognized as a state party if it secures at least 6% vots in the Assembly elections or wins at least 2 seats
CRITERIA FOR BECOMING NATIONAL PARTY
An enrolled party is perceived as a National Party just in the event that it satisfies any of the accompanying three conditions:
If any will win 2% of seat Lok Sabha from at least 3 different states.
IN General Election of Lok Sabha or Legislative assembly.
The party polls 6% votes of four states in including to 4 Lok Sabha seats.
A Recognized National party must be state party in 4 states.
