Himadri- The are the also known as greater himalayas. Tallest among the 3 ranges of himalayas. Its average height is 6000m. It has one of the most lofiest mountain range in the world. Mt. Everest lies in this range.


Shivalik Range- These are also known as outer himalayas. They lie in a eartgquake prone area. Average height 1500m. Jammu hills, Vaishno hills are some of its promonent hills.
