Different methods to determine the molar mass.
In case of any compound, molar mass indicates the atoms, ions, or anything that constitutes of the compound i.e. the number of molecules, ions or atoms contained in that particular compound.
There are a number of ways in which we can determine the molar mass of a compound.
1. The first hint is from the chemical formula of that particular compound and it indicates the atoms and total number if atoms present.
2. The second method is to find from the atomic weight that suggests the electronic configuration and number of atoms present.
3. We need to add the individual numbers finally and then convert it into moles or in grams to get the final figure.
