systematic errors are those errors which tend to go in one direction either positive or negative
sources of systematic error
a) instrumental error-these error arise due to the imperfect design or calibration or zero error in the instrument
b) procedural error-these error arise due to wrong procedure of the experiment
c) personal error-these error arise due to the individuals by improper settings, individual carelessness

the error which occurs irregularly are called random errors. these error arise due to random and unpredictable fluctuations in experimental conditions
