explain the divisions of the himalayas

The himalayas are divided into three parts the shivaliks or the lower himalayas the  shivaliks are  made up of weak rocks which can get damaged by earthquakes measuring up to 4.
the himachals which are a house to many hill stations .
the himadri the great protector of our mother land INDIA, enemies don't dare to attack us from northern parts  as it is very difficult for them to cross these snow covered mountain range .

HIMALYAS  HAVE  THREE  DIVISIONS:-

-THE  HIGHEST  IN  THE  NORTH  KNOWN  AS  HIMADRI  OR  GREATER  HIMALYAS


-THE  MIDDLE  RANGE  IS  KNOWN  AS  LOWER  HIMALYAS


- THE   SOUTHERN  REGION  IS  KNOWN  AS  SHIVALIK
