  • This candidate should have completed the "age of 35 years" and he or she must be a citizen of India.
  • This post is having a term of 5 years. Members of Houses of people can become President.
  • Elected members of Parliaments or legislative assemblies like Lok Shabha and Rajya Shabha and members of "State Legislative can only vote in this election process.
  • President can be elected for an unlimited time until he or she had any impeachment charges.
