PARLIAMENT OF INDIA IS A SUPREME LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE REUBLIC INDIA .IT IS BICAMERAL WITH TWO HOUSES :-LOK SABHA ,RAJYA SABHA.

FUNCTIONS OF PARLIAMENT IN INDIA ARE:-----

▪LEGISLATIVE FUNCTION:-- IT MAKES THE LAW ON ALL THE SUBJECTS LISTED IN THE UNION LIST.

▪FINANCIAL CONTROL:-- IT ALSO HAS THE POWERS BY WHICH REVENUES COULD BE RAISED.

▪PROVIDING AND EXERCISING CONTROL OVER CABINETS:-- THE PARLIAMENT PROVIDES THE MINISTERS AND HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE TO THE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PEOPLES.
