The working of —
>> Fuse :- It is made up of the metal which has very much low resistivity , hence melts & breaks when excess current passes through it .
It helps in protecting the other electrical appliances because as excess current passes , then it breas down and breaks the circuit .
>> Earthing :- It prevents us from getting electic shocks when we touch wire . Current is directly sent to earth via earth wire ( as earth is universal reciever of charge ) , keeping us safe .
