A Quality Circle is: volunteer group composed of members who meet to talk about workplace and service improvements and make presentations to their management with their ideas.
== Quality circle is nothing but a small group of employees who come together to discuss with the management issues related to either quality control or improvement in production methods form a Quality Control Circle (QCC).
== Those members are related especially to the quality of output or services in order to improve the performance of the organization / department and motivate and enrich the work of employees.

Quality Circles are nothing but a small group of employees of the same work place, doing similar works who regularly meet voluntarily to identify, analyse and resolve work related issues . The activities includes utilizing problem solving techniques to achieve and control the improvement in the work place.
Significance of Quality Circles:
i) They build a mutual trust and create a better understanding between the management and workers.
ii) The key element of Quality circles is cooperation.
iii) It provides opportunity to the members to use their wisdom, creativity and experience in bringing improvements
