According to the question , point p is differentiated from a circle and formed a straight line.

Actually , locus is a point which is equidistant from certain points.

So , after imagination , the straight line forms as a circle .

As we know that distance between any point on the circle to centre is equal , locus of point p will be the centre of the imaginary circle.
