The interior structure of the Earth islayered in spherical shells: an outersilicate solid crust, a highly viscousasthenosphere and mantle, a liquid outer core that is much less viscousthan the mantle, and a solid inner core.

The earth is made up of several concentric layers with one inside another. The upper most layer over the Earth's surface is called a crust. it is the tiniest of all the layers. it is about 35 km. Honda Continental masses and only 5 km .on Ocean Floors .
the main mineral constituents of the Continental masses are silica and alumina . it is thus called sila (si-silica and ma -magnesium)
