explain the law of conversation of momentum with the help of derivation
Answers
Answer:
* law of conservation of momentum is a scaler product of velocity with mass.
* according to the law of conservation of momentum, momentum remains same before and after the collision.
Proof: let we take two objects one object having mass 1=m1, initial velocity u1 and final velocity v1 and other object having mass m2 initial velocity u2 and final velocity v2
After some seconds objects will collide each other
So before collision
_Net momentum = m1v1 + m2u2
Now let these two collides so mass remains same but velocity changes
So,
Pa=m1v1 + m2v2 _(2)
Now,
F12=f21
So
F12=m1v1_m1u1/t _(3)
Also
F21=m21=m2v2_m2u2/t - (4)
But F12=F21
So m1v1-m1u1=(m2v2+m2u2/t)
Or m1v1-m1u1=m2v2+m2u2
Or m1v1+m2v2=m1u2+m2u2
But 1 and 2
Pa=Pb
Hence proof!!!
