☆ Malleable:-

A material which can be turned into thin sheets on hammering,is said to be malleable. Metals are malleable because metals can be beaten with hammer to make thin sheets.

☆ Ductile:-

A material which can be turned into thin wire by stretching is said to be a ductile.Metals are ductile because they can stretched.

• Ductility - The property of metals through which they can be stretched into thin wires is known as ductility. Ex- Gold can be drawn into 2 km of wires.
• Malleability - The property of metals through which they can be beaten into thin sheets is known as malleability. Ex- Aluminium foils
