Answer:

Here in the explanation part we will see the methods for controlling water pollution.

Explanation:

Now we are going to see the methods to control water pollution are :

1. Ecosystem Stabilisation :

It involves following There are some practices involve in the stabilisation of ecosystem and those are :

(a) Reduction of waste from the source

(b) Harvesting of biomass and removal of biomass

(c) Management of fishes

2. To remove water pollutants, water hyacinth is used:

Water hyacinth is very efficient in the absorption and concentration of dissolved nutrients in the water.

3. By using chemical methods:

Several chemical methods are used for the treatment of industrial effluents before discharging them in water bodies and some of them are Ion Exchange, Reverse Osmosis, Precipitation, Coagulation.

4. By Cooling methods:

If we want to prevent thermal pollution such methods are used like cooling waste water effluent, evaporation tower, cooling ponds, dry cooling towers and wet cooling towers

5. By using 4R concept of waste water ( Recycling, Renovation, Recharge and Reuse) :

The waste water consists of domestic sewage, industrial effluents, thermal and radioactive pollutants that receive some sort of treatment before mixing into water bodies. Urban sewage and sludge may be recycled and reused to generate cheaper fuel, gas and electricity.
