Nutrition in amoeba is holozoic it involves several sreps :
1-Ingestion : the intaking of food by an amoeba trough pseudopodia is called ingestion .
2-Digestion : by the help of enzymes of lysosomes food particles are digested and converte into solution the digestion in amoeba.
3- Assimilation : digested food mixed with the cytoplasm and then it is utilized by cell.
4-Egestion : the undigested food is thrown out of the body the process of undigested food is called egestion.
