Explain the process of double fertilization in angiosperms

ot the two sperm cells, one sperm fertilize the egg cells , forming a diploid zygote the other sperm fuses with the two polar nuclie , forming a triploid cell that develops into the endosperm. together, these two fertilisation events in angiosperms are known as double fertilisation
