First Amendment (1791) : “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Freedom of religion are :-

1Freedom to conscience and right to profess,

practice and propagate any religion

2Freedom of every religious institutions to manage its own affairs in matter of religion

3State will not collect any taxes for promotion of any particular religion

4No religious instruction can be imparted in any educational institution, which is wholly or partly maintained out of State funds
