Explain the significance of the following adaptations in polar bears.

1. Having long and curved sharp claws helps them to swim, digging the snow, self defence, walking on the snow, holding the prey.

2. Having strong sense if smell helps them to locate its prey / enemy.

3. Having white fur helps them to make them not easily visible in the snowy background.
