Living tissue chemical analysis

Explanation:

  • Take a beaker and add some acid to it and add the crushed piece of living tissue to it .
  • Filter the out the mixture, the two components will be obtained from it.
  • One is acid soluble portion and another which is acid insoluble portion which is retained n the filter membrane.
  • This demonstrates that there are two or more compounds which have distinct properties with in the living tissue.
  • For inorganic compound analysis, take another piece of tissue and burn it.
  • When all the water present get evaporated.
  • After burning of all the water, carbon compounds get oxidized.
  • The left over ash contains the inorganic compounds such as calcium, sulphate,  magnesium,  phosphate, etc., which is present in the tissue.
