Change in heat =mass into specific heat into change in temperature

Q is the heat given to system
m is the molar mass
s is the specific heat (particular heat of a given compound )
dt is the change in temperature of system.
thus it means that heat provided to a system directly proportional to change in temperature when m and s are constant.
