Permanent winds are also known as planteary winds. These winds are regardable in nature and blow all through the year these winds generally blow in the lower atmospheric layers.
there are three permanent winds are:
1. Trade winds: these are extremely stearly winds blowing from sub-tropical high pressure areas(30N and S) towards the equatorial low pres sure belt.this winds should have blown from the north to south in northern hemisphere(5-30 degree N)and South to north in southern hemisphere (5-30 degrees S)but they get deflect to right in northern hemisphere and to the left in southern hemisphere.
2.Easterlies: they blow steadily in the same direction.they are noted for consistency in both force and direction.from 35 to 60 degreen latitude.
3.Westerlies: these winds blow from sub-tropical high pressure belt towards sub-polar pressure belts.the westerlies southern hemisphere are more stronger and constant in direction than northern hemisphere. the westerlies wind blow across latitude 35-65 degree of both hemisphere.
