Explanation:

1.An electric bell contains an electro

magnet, consisting of coils of insulated wire wound round iron rods.

2.When an electric current flows through the coils, the rods become magnetic and attract a piece of iron attached to a clapper.

3.The clapper hits the bell and makes it ring.

Answer:

Electric bulb is an electrica instrument works on electromagnetic principle and is also called as magnetic or electronic bell.

Electric bell is based on the principle of electromagnets. When switch is pressed, electromagnet is activated and the hammer moves and hits the gong. As the hammer moves, circuit breaks and the electromagnet is disabled. This causes the hammer to go back to initial position due to the spring and the circuit completes again. This process is continuously repeated giving the ringing sound of the bell.

Explanation:

Working of Electric Bell:-)

  • The working of electric bell takes place by means of Electromagnetic force.

  • When we press the switch of the bell, the current starts circulating in the electromagnet and attracts the iron attached to it.

  • The gong produces the sound when the striker attached to the iron beats the gong.

  • When circuit breaks, the electromagnet put out of action and the iron strip comes to its original position.

  • The same procedure is followed every time for producing sound.

For proper understanding of the working of the bell, the diagram of the electric bulb is attached along with it.
