Closer to the polar areas like the very cold zone which has Limited plant and animal life due to freezing conditions. In the summer months when it is slightly warm, birch, willow and a variety of flower along with mosses and linches survive.

The Tundra vegetation is found north of the Arctic Circle in the Northern hemisphere and in the upper reaches of high mountains. The polar bear, walrus, caribou, silver fox and mink are the common animals found in the Artic Tundra.
