hello friend

There are two types of system :-

open system and closed system.

in closed system the blood flows through blood vessels.there are three types of blood vessels.

THEY ARE :-

1) arteries -

«» carry oxygenated blood from the heart to the body (except pulmonary artery which carries deoxygenated blood from the body to heart )

«» have highly muscular wall.

«» narrow lumem.

«» they are deeply placed away from the skin.

«» the blood in arteries flows in jer ks.

«» there are no valves in arteries.

=============================

2) VEINS -

«» carry deoxygenated blood from the body to the heart (except pulmonary veins which carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart. )

«» have less muscular wall.

«» much wider lumem.

«» they are superficially placed under the skin.

«» the blood in veins flows in smoothly.

«» there are valves in veins which prevents the backward flow of blood.

=============================

3) CAPILLARIES -

«» they connects arteries and veins.

«» have no muscular wall.
