Explain what is Mitosis ? ( In 7- 8 lines )

Mitosis is a type of division in which a cell divides in to two.It is equational division i.e. if any organism is haploid and it undergoes mitosis the new organism will also be haploid.There is no reduction of chromosome number they remain same.
